Although we offer a complete removal package, we understand that this is not what everyone is looking for and we are happy to offer services to assist you to carry out your move, your way.
Our self storage facility is available for your convenience to give you access to your items as you require.
With both indoor and outdoor self storage options (a range of capacities available), Forfar Removals have the facilities to meet all your self storage needs.
Our individual storage containers provide you with a secure facility for safe keeping of your items. Our outdoor containerised storage area is floodlit and easily accessible for your vehicle to aid loading/unloading.
Unit Options
- Indoor: 2m, 3m, 4m, and 6m Units
- Outdoor: 20ft Metal Shipping Containers
- Archive: 2m and 3m Units
Security
Premises covered by CCTV indoor and outdoor, monitored intruder and fire alarms.
Each container includes an antitheft bar and customers are solely responsible for their own padlocks. For your convenience, padlocks are available to purchase in our packaging section.
Insurance
Self storage insurance cover is available “in house” or can be purchased by the customer elsewhere.
Moving In/Out
Should you require our team to carry out your removal, a driver and van to assist, or porter hire for an extra pair of hands, we can provide these services.
However, if you would prefer to bring your own goods into our storage facility, trolleys and sack barrows are available to assist in the movement of your goods in and out of your unit.
Porter Hire
We offer a competitive hourly and daily rate for Porter Hire. Our team are highly experienced and can offer you assistance.Driver and Van Hire
We also offer a competitive hourly and daily rate for our Driver and Van Hire service. With experienced drivers and a variety of sizes of vehicles supplied with the necessary tools and equipment, we can give you the support to help you complete your move, your way.
Complete Removal Solution

Crate Hire and Packaging
We provide crate hire at competitive rates. These come in a variety of sizes including Standard, Personal and IT. We can assess your requirements and suggest the most appropriate options for your needs.
We also stock a variety of Packaging Materials. Including: Large Boxes, Book Boxes, Archive Boxes, Wardrobe Boxes, Bubble Wrap, Brown Packing Tape, Packing Paper, and Labelling Markers.
